Hand Crafted commissions created from old antique English and French spoons. Recycled Jewellery

Well another week flew by without a thought! I have been on a spoon hunt this week scouring the local charity shops, markets and loyal to the 'cause' collectors. This element is always great fun. Its always amazing the type of pieces that people discard. I understand that if it aint got a use it may as well go. But i am a hoarder, and a magnet for crap. Its great that people do donate it to Chairty shops. It kills me when i find the stuff at the local 'tips' (one of the loyal to the cause works at the tip and collects it for me!). To think that someone has just 'binned' it!! Arghh. But i suppose that someone even more hardcore green and ethical would be screaming Arghhh! when i wipe my bum with toilet paper an not a leaf!! You never know. Different strokes or wipes.
Anyway, apart from having great fun collecting raw materials i have been working really hard on a collection of handmade, handcrafted, locally produced and recycled brooches for the world wildlife fund (WWF) which is excellent. Creating pieces for such a great cause whilst earning a little money is good. I think these pieces will be for sale in the Christmas WWF catalogue. This, to tie in with the previous paragraph is great toilet reading! I love reading these and innovations catalogues on the toilet. Just the right size and level of content to amuse and interest without being too engrossing. Dont want piles!! wow what a lovely blog entry!?> Maybe i need the loo or something? Maybe i should edit or delete this rubbish.!
see you soon! cant believe i am not deleting this! Sorry you had to read it.
byee.
