I wanted to share my newest makeup discovery. For most of my life I have not been able to wear much makeup, and if I did, I was always aware of it, irritating my eyes for the most part. And it wasn't even just the eye makeup, my foundation could be as irritating as my eyeshadow. I could hardly wait to get it off at the end of the day or the end of the function I was attending. I must mention here that I have used one (very expensive) line of skin care for years because I could tolerate it. Then my daughter told me about a line of mineral makeup she was using that she found very gentle. I dismissed the idea, firstly, because I thought for sure it would be even more irritating and, secondly, I thought it was expensive for something that I would probably end up throwing out. Then one day I was cruising around Costco and noticed that they had a package of mineral makeup (of course, under the Kirkland brand name - not glamourous) but it was by 'Borghese Cosmetics'. Everything you see here was included in the package for under $40.00!! about as much as
one eyeliner from my lifelong brand of makeup. I decided I couldn't lose and quickly grabbed it and rushed home to try it. Well, I love it and this is my testimonial that
I do not even know I am wearing it and would probably forget to take it off at night except that I am so disciplined in that matter and would never go to bed with makeup on. It is lightweight, subtle and stays on until I take it off. That's another thing, when I go to remove it, it comes off like magic! I now take more pride in how I look when I'm even just going out and about running errands because it's no big deal to put on some makeup which causes me to pay more attention to how I do my hair and to what I wear - the domino effect, I guess. I do apply it sparingly, less is more with, er, mature skin. So if you've been struggling with your makeup and you run across this at Costco, I'd highly recommend you give it a try, it may be just what you are looking for!
