Winter solstice, lunar eclipse to coincide


This year's winter solstice, will fall on the same day as a full lunar eclipse for the first time in 372 years! (according to National Geographic). The eclipse will start just after midnight EST Tuesday, with the main event starting at 1:30 a.m. and lasting until 5:30 a.m. Make sure you calculate the proper time to view this cosmic event in your part of the world.
