Just thought i'd share a piece i made recently as a commission for regular customer who wanted something special and original for her Buddhist fella. The idea and various symbols were suggested and accompanied with links to inspiring photographs found on the web. It was apparent that this iconic representation has been used in jewellery, although mostly simply mass (relatively) produced castings. My customer wanted something special, original and ethical. The footprint has been created from to sterling silver English Shilling coins. The end result is quite pleasing and i quite liked the idea of making another one for myself!toodlepip
