How frogs fly...

How frogs fly....

We have all seen frogs flying around, especially when in the woods. The last time i did i am sure this is what i saw. So i used my saw to cut the vision from an old antique spoon. There is nuthin wierd about that. Anyways, this lovely little brooch fits perfectly back into the spoon when not being worn.

This will be available on the website soon. Please let me know what you think :)

Gorgeous new tree jewellery - handmade and recycled

This gorgeous tree brooch is delicately hand pierced from the 'bowl' of an old, discarded and unwanted dessert spoon found in a local charity shop. The majority of this cutlery is inherited and unwanted. Once donated, it then sits for years in charity shop cutlery trays, neglected, waiting for me!

This particular brooch is deftly crafted, formed and polished into shape using the traditional methods, tools and a passion for nature and our environment.

Included with the brooch is the antique dessert spoon from which it was cut. This is an interesting object for the wearer and is a fab talking piece. It also acts a lovely resting place for the brooch when not being worn.

Recycled serving spoon summer blossom tree prototype

It turned out quite nice :
I have soldered a lovely locking pin on the reverse. I definately think these could be a good addition to the site.
