Still waiting

I went over to our little country store yesterday to see if I could find anything that would spark some creative thinking in me. When I can't get enthused with my projects I find that a little drive - most times in the country - will usually do it. The little store is starting to fill up with Easter merchandise and I spied these little fellas sitting out on the porch. Garden statuary covered in snow - how appropriate! I had to laugh (or I might have cried). I didn't bring them home with me - I wouldn't even know where to put them at the moment. I was also casing out the landscape for pussy willows. Most years at this time I would be making my wreaths but this year, although I did see some they are not quite ready and they are in about six feet of snow. I'm hoping they will be ready in about three weeks - can't wait - it's one of my favourite things to do.

You have to read this

Recently I came across this post "Seeing Past What it Seems". It's from the blog "Brave Girls Club Community". I had to take a little break and go have a cry in the bathroom - but it was worth it. While I was reading it I knew I had seen this somewhere before. Then I realized it was in one of my magazines from Stampington & Company called "Where Women Create". You can find this article and learn more about Melody on the Brave Girls Club blog.
