Cute little fairies - handmade and repurposed

A beautiful and simple brooch hand pierced from the 'bowl' of an old, negelected antique dessert spoon. The gorgeous little fairy is sketched on the spoon and then cut, drilled, filed and polished. The final result is quite lovely. The brooch as a simple and effective locking catch on the reverse. Completely green, ethcial, original and whimsically beautiful.

Fairy Wing dogtags? Anyone? Hairy Growler. Handcrafted and eco-friendly

This lovely little fairy wing has been the main focus of today. Each section is deeply engraved to give a really intricate detail. The silver is an old silver half crown coin, flattened out and bashed about. The coin was dated 1845, so wow, this little fairy wing has some history. I think it will probably loo better hanging from a silver ball chain rather than a cord?
I think it is good to take time out from creating christmas stock and focus on new ideas and designs. It is true!!
