This quality kuff would look fabulous on many a wrist. It can be made any size what-so-ever. It is especially suited to those who like to beat the first frost of the season. A dedicated mycelium piece. Each one is completely handcrafted and recycled from old pewter tankards that one used to receive on special occasions, but are now unfavourable, thus dumped in charity shops. Fair enough. Better than being land filled!

September - the picking season.

This is a gorgeous little brooch perfectly compliments the Hairy Growler cheeky lil pixie collection. He has been handcrafted and recycled from an old, neglected antique spoon 'dug up' at a local charity shop in Cambridge. Totally undesirable to most shoppers as a purchase, I immediately saw that this here little spoon was going to be the beginning of a whole new style of cheeky pixie boys. The perfect shape and size for what i had been sketching! It was meant to be.

Here he is, 'green' from every conceivable angle, off to enjoy the delights of the countrycyde.

The remaining spoon is also worked upon to turn it into a gorgeous object and talking point for the wearer. It also works nicely as a little nest/home for the brooch when it is not being worn!

Hairy Growler

Shroom season is here again so lets wear out lucky picking badges....

This cheeky little brooch is the fruit of todays designing and creating. I am quite pleased with the finished article! Let me know what you think? I definately reckon its perfectly timed and inspired. It should make an appearence on www.hairygrowler.co.uk very soon.

I am also in the process of making a couple of wicked little magic mushroom coin pendants which will definately be on www.luckysixpencejewellery.co.uk website very shroom.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions of designs i could create let me know. It could be fun to create commissions which havent been commissioned, if you know what i mean? Not that i have the time!! But i bet it would be quite good. I'll shut up now. My eyes are stinging, red and my concentration level is slipping by the second.
