4th of July Cupckaes, Cookies and Frosting

4th of July flag Cookie - on - a - stick



Ingredients

Pillsbury Flag shape sugar cookies

Sucker Sticks ( Wilton makes these )



Directions

Two ways to do this

#1 Create a cookie-on-a-stick by simply poking the sucker sick directly into the cookie dough prior to baking. Follow cooking directions on package.



#2 Create a cookie-on-a-stick by frosting the back of one cookie; place a craft stick (flat wooden sticks with round ends) on the frosted side and place another cookie, back side down on the frosting.



Red, White and Blue Cupcakes



Ingredients

White cake mix

Food coloring (red, blue, )

Cupcake Baking cups



Instructions
  1. Prepare your favorite white cake mix, then divide the batter evenly among three small bowls. Color one bowl of cake mix with red food coloring and one with blue food coloring.

  2. Line cupcake pan with baking cups. Evenly distribute the red , white and blue cake mix . As you fill them gently spread each layer of batter with the back of a spoon to cover the color underneath. I then placed a dab of red on top of each cupcake.

  3. Bake the cupcakes according cake mix directions.

  4. Frost and decorate as you choose.


Berry Fun Flag Cupcakes



Ingredients

1 box cupcake white cake mix - Make cupcakes according to package instructions

1 can white frosting

1 Container Blueberries

1 box strawberry fruit by the foot



Directions

Create cupcakes according to box instructions

Frost cupcakes once cool with the can of white frosting

cut fruit by the foot into small stripes as seen in picture

Arrange blueberries and fruit by the foot to resemble a flag as seen in the picture.



4th of July simple frosting



Ingredients

1 can white frosting or 1 tub cool ship

1 bottle red, whit and blue cake decorating balls



Directions

Empty can of frosting or cool whip into bowl

Pour desired amount of cake decorating balls into frosting

Gently stir candy balls into frosting or cool whip. If using frosting allow to sit covered with saran wrap for one hour. If using cool whip it will immediately begin to streak like tye dying your frosting.

If using frosting after one hour gently mix again and your frosting should begin to streak.
